Ted Lesley

Ted Lesley is not only a recognized star in Germany and Europe, but he also enjoys world fame.

In a formal ceremony at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles, he received the Creative Fellowship Award from the Academy of Magical Arts in 2001. This is a well deserved honor for this creative artist, who first became acquainted with magic through his teacher at the public school in his home town of Düren. From then on, magic became his greatest hobby and profession.

In 1992, Ted was designated "Mentalist of the Year" with the "Dunninger Award" in the USA. This was the first time this coveted "Oscar" of mental magic had been awarded to a European artist. In 1993, the "Magischer Zirkel von Deutschland e. V." (Magic Circle of Germany) named Ted Lesley "author of the year" for his book "Mental Mind-Ups", later to be published in English language under the name "Paramiracles". This award was given to him, even though he is not a member of this organization.

In 1999, he was elevated to Member of the Inner Magic Circle, Gold Star, by the Magic Circle of London. With this, Ted Lesley is the German artist with the most international recognition. His creations combine devilish principles with fine psychological subleties.
