A miser's dream come true!
Two strong tricks in a great combination! You show your hands and a glass to be empty and then cover the glass with an unprepared silk. As soon as the glass is covered, a half dollar appears between your fingertips. You drop the coin onto the silk and two seconds later a second coin appears in your hand, then a third one, a fourth and a fifth coin! In full view of the audience, each coin is tossed into the center of the silk one by one, which is lowered into the glass by the weight of the coins. A short, strange and unexplainable coin catch from the air.
Now you grab one of the corners of the silk with thumb and index finger and pull the silk away. The spectators would expect the coins to drop into the glass, making some sound, but this expectation is not fulfilled: The coins have vanished into thin air!
The method for the production of the five coins was developed by Werry. It was Tom Sellers' idea to let the coins vanish from the silk.
