This trick by Werry is copied by many manufacturers all over the world without our permission. Werry developed it in 1961 and even got official support from the Coca-Cola Company in Germany. Coca-Cola sent thousands of special plastic-bottles that were originally used for decoration in shops free of charge to Werry. In the 1960’s and 70’s Werry developed a whole series of tricks with Coke bottles. We will soon release them again.
COCA COLA SENSATION
The magician takes a pretty silk in his hands and causes this to vanish, using any method he prefers. Next a bottle of Cola is taken in the empty (really empty) hands, and freely shown on all sides. A small cardboard tube is shown empty (really empty). The tube is only HALF AS HIGH as the bottle and when this is placed over it half the bottle is clearly in view. either the top or bottom half, depending on how you position the tube. The magician holds the bottle and tube between his hands and slowly brings his hands together, closer and closer. The audience see the bottle getting smaller and smaller until you hold only the tube
Reaching into the tube with the extreme tips of his fingers the magician removes the previously vanished silk. Immediately the tube is shown to be otherwise completely empty. The bottle has vanished!
Where's the bottle? The silk just removed from the tube is opened out and shown, and there, all in colour, is the bottle of Coca-Cola depicted upon it ! A terrific finish!
You can work the effect ONLY as a vanish if you like, without the silk effect. One moment the bottle is there, the next—Wham! It's gone!
